We get estimates before any work is performed so you know exactly what to expect. An estimate normally takes between 7-10 business days. Once approved, expect another 7-10 business days for completion. We always set realistic expectations, if your job is going to take longer we will let you know!
We offer 2 types of appraisals a Full Appraisal and a Partial Appraisal. We ask that you make an appointment, but it is not required. The full appraisals typically take 45 minutes to an hour per piece. Measurements and pictures are taken within the first 30 minutes. The rest of the time is spent evaluating the information and coming up with a value. You will leave with a formal written appraisal. These appraisals are typically used for Insurance, Liquidation, and Estate purposes and cost $75 per piece. The appraisal process is a science and requires many measurements and calculations. A Partial Appraisal will only take approximately 15-30 minutes depending on the piece. The customer can expect any stones and metals to be identified and measured. Values will not be assigned to these appraisals. This type of appraisal is simply verifying what the item is. This appraisal costs $25.
A good watchmaker is hard to find and we’re convinced we have the best!
Our watch maker is so great he warranties most repairs for a whole year! Due to the complicated nature of a watch and difficulty in finding appropriate watch parts, these repairs can take a very long time. Estimates can take 3-4 weeks and another 3-4 weeks for repair completion. Again, some repairs can take longer but we will keep you updated on it’s progress.
All repair pieces are covered under our insurance (Jeweler’s Mutual)
This insurance covers any theft, damage, etc. Items left for more than 90 days after the completion of work will be forfeited.
